After years of seasonally operating Winters Garden Beds in the Spring after returning home from university, I have now finished my education in physics/mathematics and am pursuing a career opportunity in New York City as of March 2024. I am unfortunately unable to operate my business from afar while being here due to work visa restrictions.

I would like to thank all of our customers throughout the entire province of NS over the years for their continued support, and for helping our business make urban gardening more accessible and enabling Nova Scotians to grow their own healthy organic food in their back and front yards.

If any of our previous customers are looking to expand their garden this year using the same design of garden bed that we build, please reach out on our 'Contact' page and I will gladly send you lists of required materials, wood cuts, and instructions to be able to reproduce the same design yourself. Sourcing 2" thick wood from local department stores, the 4'x8' Garden Bed currently uses approx $68+HST of wood while the 4'x4' Garden Bed uses approx $45+HST of wood in the classic 11" height.

If in HRM we highly recommend locally owned and operated Kynock Resources for consistent top quality bulk garden soil year-round at competitive rates. We also recommend family-run Fogarty's Market Garden for the healthiest, largest vegetable seedlings and fruit trees around (Pat Fogarty operates May onwards near last frost).
